A little about me.  My name is Mark Gardner.  I live in a suburb of Seattle.

My career:

1969-1973 Student,  UC Berkeley. History major.  Active on campus newspaper.  Believe it or not all my history profs were conservative.  I spent a lot of time on the campus newspaper, the Daily Cal.

1973-1974.  Intern.  KMED-TV-AM-FM.  Medford Oregon.  Minimum wage.  Did everything from washing news cars and emptying trash cans to writing the TV newscast, reporting and many more tasks.

1975- 1976.  News photographer KOIN-TV Portland, OR.  Actually won best news clip contest nationally for the National Press Photographer’s Association in second quarter, 1976,

1976-1977.  News producer Noon News, KOIN-TV, Portland, OR.

1977-1978.  News producer 11PM Newscast, KOIN-TV, Portland, OR.

1978-1980.  News Producer 5PM Newscast, KOIN-TV, Portland, OR.

1980-1982.  Executive News Producer, KOIN-TV, Portland, OR.  (Won Best Newscast in America from UPI and Best Documentary from SF State).

1982-1984.  Executive Producer, KIRO-TV, Seattle, WA.  (Best Newscast in America from UPI 1983 & 1984 and local, regional emmy’s).

1984-1986.  Managing Editor, KIRO-TV, Seattle, WA.

1986-1994. IS Director, KIRO Inc.

1994-1996. Chairman, Mainstream Republicans of Washington.

1996 - 2000 Program Manager (of Sales Force Automation) of Philip Services, Inc., an environmental company.

2000 - IS Director, eHome.com.

2000-2005 - Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor.

Present - Board Member Mainstream Republicans of Washington.
