The story of Barack Obama’s shady dealings with Antoin “Tony” Rezko over the the purchase of Obama’s Chicago mansion and the lot next door may be breaking fast enough to save Hillary Clinton in Texas and Ohio Tuesday.
Even though the story was first reported in 2006 and the Chicago papers have been re-working the story the past few weeks, the liberal drive-by media throughout America has given it little play. If it weren’t for conservative bloggers, Obama might have gotten his party’s nomination before the truth about his corruption became public.
According the Chicago Tribune:
Weeks after saying he’d answered all questions about his controversial dealings with the now-indicted Rezko, Obama released new details about their purchase of adjacent lots from the same seller on the same day. But the disclosures by Obama’s presidential campaign left unanswered questions and raised new ones.
Apparently the seller of Obama’s mansion also sold the vacant lot next door to Rezko’s wife on the very same day in 2006 as the house was sold to the Obamas. Here’s the deal: Rezko’s wife paid the full $625,000 asking prize for the undeveloped lot and Barack and Michelle got $300,000 off the asking price for the mansion. The Obamas only paid $1.65 million. And it get’s better: the “vacant lot” has been turned into a garden and is only accessible today from Obama’s lot.
Obama has been reticent to discuss Rezko since the Tribune in 2006 revealed their property transactions. He has called their financial dealings “boneheaded” because, at the time, Rezko was reported to be under grand jury investigation. Rezko is set to go on trial next month on corruption and fraud charges.
Looks like the Democrats are close to nominating not only the next McGovern-Dukakis, but a corrupt one at that. 2008 is going to be a great year for Republicans!
So McCain is better? Compare the Keating scandal, where McCain was party to bribery, to this, and tell me which is worse. If you’re betting on the fact that McCain is a saint, you’re pretty optimistic.
Keating is a negative for McCain, I admit. But he has stepped up to this … Obama has not … and Obama is more clearly a case of self-interest, is it not?
I think that he’s sidestepped it, but if he hasn’t taken direct action in his position as a state politician on Rezko’s behalf, I’m not seeing how this is relevant. Show me a case where he used his influence on Rezko’s behalf and I’ll be concerned.
Sadly, Obama and Hillary both are diseased with Egomania. Yes, Egomania is a real and dangerous disease, Look it up on Web MD. The Egomaniac is extremely selfish and can be very manipulative. The Egomaniac is incapable of sincerely listening to the needs and ideas of others although they are good at pretending to be. The Egomaniacs constant cravings for Ego inflation can never be satisfied. These Power Monger politicians say and do anything they believe the media will embrace. Obama is a classic clinical example of Egomania. He has slandered our accepted and real past patriotic leaders calling their sincere inspirational communication “Just Words” as if only his own words matter. Sadly, To the Egomaniac it is only their own words that are qualified to inflate their Ego’s. Forever these sick Power Monger Egomaniacs have risen to power with tragic consequences. Hitler and Stalin were Egomaniacs. Scary Stuff ! ! ! The Egomaniac is incapable of real work because they constantally need to hear themselves speak, They can never stop campaigning and playing to the egocentric media that loves them. Combine this disease which clinically proves Hillary and Obama unfit to serve with their corruption issues, We are in huge trouble if either or both are elected. Products of the Clinton Machine and the South Chicago Political Machine where black politicians become very rich and the poor forever remain poor. These two are far more deserving of Deportation than they are of Election to any public office.
Only a public grass roots effort of rooting out information and exposing it in letters to the editor, Repeatedly in papers and publications will these Power Mongers be kept from devistating our already fragile security and well being. We are in dyer straits and must settle for no less than an experienced capitan to steer us to survival. This election must be about real experience, honor, truth, and an ability to be a hard working public servant with no hidden or secret egocentric agenda disguised as change or Hope. We must be enlightened and enlighten others of the real danger Hillary and Obama represent. We must be the truth seekers and everywhere possible let everyone know, Write now… Write often !!!
